Marti Huisman advises Edu on education policy.

 

She leverages her experience as senior administrator in a large urban school district to review large and complex grant-funded programs. She is an expert in special needs education.

 

Since joining Edu in 2004 Marti has assessed STEM content for NASA and contributed to a national study on nanotechnology education sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

 

Marti earned her Ed.M. from Harvard University, where she specialized in administration, planning, and public policy.
